Review day of limiting reactant showing expanded view problem solving (have / need).
Work two percent yield calculations: one where you are given an actual yield and need to calculate mass produced and percent yield. Second problem you are asked to produce a specified amount and given the percent yield and need to calculate how much of each reactant you need to start with AND how much of each reactant remains at the end.
Finally, we did a practice problem where we calculated how much excess reactant will remain.
About 10 minutes of work time was given at the end of the period.
