Title: Weak Acids
Description: CHEMISTRY
April 27, 2021

Weak acids will be minimally tested over (two questions).
You should spend your time reviewing how to calculate pH, pOH, hydronium and hydroxide values
instead of watching the videos on conjugate acid base pairs and weak acids to be better prepared for the TEST on Wednesday.
LeChatelier's principle (equilibrium shifts) will have ~ 4 questions on the test.
The test will be 35 multiple choice questions.

Watch my "Acid Base Test Review" video and the short video "How Are Strong & Weak Acids Different" as a minimum.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
     1) Be able to correctly label conjugate acid-base pairs.
     2) Write a Ka or Kb expression for a weak acid/base.
     3) Demonstrate an understanding of amphoteric materials.
     4) Identify how strong and weak acids differ.

Weak Acids - dissociate less than 20% and have a small ka value.
Stong Acids - dissociate ~100% and have a LARGE ka value.
